TCIEXPRESS has fully-automated its Pune Sorting Centre in Chakan in April 2024. This facility aims to achieve operational efficiency with a 40% reduction in turnaround time. The 1.32 lakh sq ft centre is featured with an AI-enabled automated cross-belt sorter, expediting operations, streamlining sorting process, and minimising errors for faster deliveries and reduced inventory holding times. As part of the company’s broader initiative to automate all sorting centres, following the commissioning of the GIGA Sorting Centre, Gurugram, this efficiency enhancement will firmly position TCIEXPRESS as an innovation leader in the field of express delivery, marking a substantial leap forward.
